Preserving the Word, Connecting Hearts, Exploring History.

Since the first convention in Greenwood, Indiana in 1991, the ISBC has held annual conventions all across the country. Members hear scholars speak, see rare editions up close, and tour notable Bible collections.

The next convention

2026 Annual Convention

October 8 to 10, 2026 · Washington, D.C.

Three days of scholarship and Bible displays in the capital, built around a guided day inside the Museum of the Bible.

Dr. Scott Carroll leads that tour. He helped purchase many of the objects now on display, and he speaks three times across the weekend.

Members are welcome to bring items for the Saturday afternoon displays. A bonus Sunday opens a member's private collection of more than 5,000 Bibles to anyone still in town.
